Buck Creek Disc Golf Course

Buck Creek is located just outside of Springfield, Ohio. It
takes about 45 minutes to get there from my house.
The first 9 holes are mostly in the woods as pictured above.

Hole 6 is one of my favorites. It goes out about 100 feet
and then makes a 90 degree turn to the right.

The second shot on hole 6 down to the basket with logs
across the fairway to prevent rollers off the tee.

The baskets are often tucked into the trees, but you can
usually lean one way or another and have a shot.

The holes on the back 9 are mostly open and longer. Here
you look from the basket on hole 12 back toward the tee
on top of the hill.

Hole 13 goes up the hill. You can see that the tees are new
and currently made of gravel.

A nice view from the basket on hole 13.

Hole 16 runs from the gravel tee on the left up the hill to
the basket on the right side of the picture (in the distance).

Hole 17 is the longest and most difficult on the course. Like
several other holes on the back 9, there is a view of the
lake. I took these pictures on an overcast, slightly rainy day
while practicing for the Buck Creek tournament.

The basket for hole 17 is on an island green created by
the out of bounds asphalt turnaround for the parking lot.

Buck Creek is one of the newer courses in the Dayton area.
It was recently redesigned to add length and complexity.
Other improvements coming soon include rubber tee pads
and signs on each tee pad.
