Mom and I in Indiana

I watched the Steeler game at a new place -- a local Steelers
bar. Liz and her ex-husband (still friends) sat with Don and
me. She went to Perry High School (as did my sister) and
some of her relatives went to St. Boniface grade school (as
did our family). We tried to use our combined positive
energy to root the Steelers to victory, but.....oh, well.

It seemed like a nice place and the Steel City Mafia seemed
like nice people. I might not go back, though, because the
Steeler loss left a bad taste in my mouth.
After the game, to distract myself I packed up mom and we
headed for Indiana. The disc golf World Championships are
there next year and I wanted to check out the courses.
We took Tangi, of course, and spent the first night in
Lafayette. Tangi likes to be in mom's suitcase.

The next day we tried to have good old Chicago hot dogs
for lunch, but we were in a different time zone and they
weren't open yet.
We visited the disc golf tournament site, and later we stayed
in Indianapolis on our way home. Mom is resting before we
go out to dinner.
We had a happy hour beer and dinner at the Outback
Steakhouse.
Mom had seared tuna with dipping sauces.

The trip was a nice little escape with mom. I will post
pictures of the disc golf tournament courses elsewhere.
