More Little River -- Bike Week
It's bike week so Mom and I paid a visit to Suck, Bang, Blow -- a busy
biker venue on the South side of the beach.
We parked across the street and there was a big man with a gun
and holster watching the lot. He said to mom, "You aren't going
to cause any trouble in there, are you?" Mom said, "Do I look like
trouble?" to which he replied, "No, mam, but I've been fooled before."
Little miss no-trouble.
To the chagrin of many business owners, the city of Myrtle Beach
is trying to discourage bike week. Many of the main events are
being held outside the city.
On the way to south end of the beach, we passed this vehicle
from a port-a-pottie company. The motto on the back of the
truck said, "We're #1 in the #2 business."
The Little River Blue Crab Festival is also happening this weekend.
