Brent Hambrick Disc Golf Tournament - the final 9 holes
The final 9 holes is called the Showcase round. The holes are
improvised -- for example, the dam shot is added and the
number 6 tee plays to the number 8 basket. Only the top 4
men and top 3 women play for the championship trophies.
In the picture above, spectators watch the start on hole 1.
The three women finalists -- Val Jenkins, Des Reading and
Sarah Stanhope. Des, in the middle, won the $780 women's
first place money. Val Jenkins won $545. Sarah won $365.
Avery Jenkinsis in red like his sister, Val. Dave Feldberg, from
Oregon, is in the middle and won the $1700 first place money.
Avery Jenkins and Nate Doss won $1040 each, and Nikko
won $750.
There was a good group of spectators for the Showcase round.
Nikko begins with 1, 2 and 4 shot leads over the other men.
Des has commanding 6 and 10 shot leads over the other women.
