Alum Creek State Park, Columbus, OH
I drove to Columbus for some free software training. While there, I checked Alum Creek State
Park as a possible place to take Echo camping -- because there is a dog park and dog beach.
The camping sites are great. Here you see the space between two sites.
A nice site right on the lake where I could try out my kayak.
Another site where we could have dinner overlooking a bay.
And you can tell from the sign that this dog park is going to
be world class.
Here's the area for the small dogs.
Here's the fenced dog beach.
And here's the area for the large dogs to run and play
together.
I'm trying to think of some way I could take mom camping....
