I played multiple rounds of disc golf at Coachmen Park and Cliff Stephens Park. I forgot how
much fun it is to be out in the sunshine, getting exercise and trying various shots. It seems
my game hasn't deteriorated too much over the Winter.

There are three or four holes at Coachmen Park that follow
the water on the right with trees on the left.

Hole number 10 at Cliff Stephens Park with the pro tee on the
left and the amateur tee on the right.

The drive has to carry the first water with the basket near the
second water. I played both tees with a par from the back tee
and a birdie from the amateur tee.

I skipped this island green, though, because I only had one
driver with me and couldn't afford to lose it.
And I didn't think I should enter to water to retrieve a disc.

A basket on the edge of a drop off to the water.

My shot was a little long.

At Coachmens the ground was covered with small, slippery
leaves so most shots skipped and added 40 feet to each drive.

In the mornings there were very few people at the course.

Disc golfers are more creative (or allowed to be more creative)
then ball golfers. On many courses they find ways to express
their creativity. At Coachmen, there are stumps with bottle caps
added for decoration.

A tee shot.

A tee shot.

This is the hole I use to judge my progress. Last year I could
not throw this drive onto the platform across the way. This
year I was able to do it consistently. (I still need to increase
my distance, though.)
