There were two turning points that decided the outcome of the Hambrick tournament last
month in Columbus. The final turning point occured when Nate Doss inexplicably threw his
drive out of bounds on the last hole, losing his lead and resulting in a three-way playoff
which was eventually won by Dave Feldberg. The other turning point is documented below.

Nikko Locastro had the lead for much of the tournament. In the final round
he was putting very well, as usual, and had a fairly easy putt for birdie
with three or four holes to go.

For some reason, his putt was very high, sailed over the basket and
landed 25 feet away on the other side.
He couldn't believe that he'd thrown such a bad putt.
Perhaps because he was upset about missing the first putt, he also
missed the come-back putt. Others in the group made 2's while he
made a 4. He missed the playoff three holes later by one stroke.
