Little River, SC with mom and Tangi

Mom has a bowl of cereal and Tangi keeps her company.

Later in the day mom and I explored happy hour at a new restaurant. We
had oysters, shrimp, wings and salmon with spinach. (And beer.)
I couldn't tempt mom to try her first oyster ever.

Earlier in the day, we visited Atlanta Bread Company. We had
a pastry, but the real reason for these trips is for mom to
get exercise.
Climbing in and out of the van is one of mom's required, daily
exercises. (I am usually there to catch her if she doesn't
make it, but today I backed away to take a picture.)
Two of my trivia friends had a birthday while I was in Little
River. Dan and Terry blow out the candles on their cake.
This is Dan's last cigarette. He is quitting in honor of his
birthday and the new, higher tax on cigarettes. He's smoking
the last one a few puffs at a time (putting it out between
puffs). Best of luck, Dan.
Tangi rests on a chair in the sun.

A sign that mom and I liked while window shopping.
