I'm glad Gail is here.

Unseasonably warm weather in September, perfect for us.

Our pool.

Our room is close to the top of the yellow and white striped tent.

Things are kind of laid back in Reno -- beer in the pool, no problem.

When I met Gail at the airport, I put $3 in a quarter slot machine and won 75 cents.

While Gail was checking in at the hotel, I put a dollar in a nicket slot machine and
won 95 cents. I thought winning on my first two attempts might be a good omen,
but so far it hasn't been.

Dinner at a nice restaurant in Harrah's.

The biggest little casino in the world. We sat in the wrong seats -- a guy who came in
and sat next to us won $1000 on his first spin at the poker slot machine on the bar.

At the blues club near our hotel, no chance of getting a $100 bill from me.

 Reno with Gail

I met Gail at the airport and we checked into the Sands in downtown Reno.

Thanks to Cliff and Amy for taking care of mom. And thanks to Brenda and Larry for taking care of our animals. (Brenda sends pictures periodically so we can see that Echo and Shelby are having a great time.)
