A view of Lake Arthur from one of the fairways.

This hole began across the field below, proceeded up the hill to this point, and...

from there you still had to navigate these trees to the basket in the distance.

View from the gold tees on hole 12. The hole is 573 feet -- about 300 feet down and
around the corner to the left, followed by another 250 feet up into the woods. What a hole.

Directional arrow in the fairway, a nice touch.

Some of the fairways seemed to be orchards with trees planted in rows.

If I get a chance to return with a group, a picnic near hole 1 would be in order.

The course length is 8264 from the gold tees, 7064 from the blue tees, and 5864 from
the white tees. The course record from the gold tees is 62. (By comparison, I would
guess that my home course at Belmont is around 5000 feet, and the course record
somewhere around 40.)

 Moraine State Park

From Knob Hill I drove a half-hour North on I-79 and played the Pennsylvania, disc golf course at Moraine State Park, a challenging, professional-level, beautiful course overlooking Lake Arthur. The picture to the left is the view from a basket, looking back up the fairway (which had a creek running across it).
