A Quiet Month at Home

I am looking forward to a quiet month at home, although mom and I will make a weekend trip to Pennsylvania so the relatives can help us celebrate her 85th birthday. Maybe I can also get myself to do some work on the Smithville house.

I have some new software that I've barely played with, and a couple of manuals for multi-media programs that I'd like to spend time with. We'll see. (By typing "A Quiet Month at Home," I have no doubt jinxed myself.)

Arches National Park at Dawn I'm still looking through the pictures from my trip out West. These images of Arches National Park at dawn bring back excellent memories. I'd love to be camping there right now. [ more ] and [ my favorites ]	Geocaching I tried a new hobby -- geocaching -- and I found my first cache. I don't know if I will get serious about geocaching, but it is always fun to investigate something new. [ more ]
Mom's 85th Birthday For mom's 85th birthday we spent a night in Columbus with Peggy, and from there we drove to Pennsylvania for the weekend to celebrate with relatives. [ more ]	Cousins I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent with my cousins while I was in Pennsylvania, expecially the afternoon when Ed grilled those cheeseburgers (and we drank some beer).. [ more ]
Disc Golf in Pennsylvania I added Pennsylvania to the list of states where I played disc golf this Summer. The other states are Ohio, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, Nevada and Kansas. And I got my low score for the year last week -- a 57, three over par. [ Knob Hill ] and [ Moraine State Park ] and [ my low score ]	Little River, SC Again Mom, Tangi and I are back in Little River. The rehab on my condominium building is complete, and I had to do an inspection and submit a punch list for any finishing touches. I also arranged for the Fall air handler check for the heating/cooling system. [ more ] and [ more ] and [ Penn State ] and [ condo rehab ] and [ mom ] and [ drive home ]
