Tangi stays away from, and hisses at, all other animals, but she seems interested in
this one.

Tangi's normal position, laying on the floor next to mom.

Mom feeds Tangi -- a lot of cats won't eat from a person's hand.

Mom feeds mom.

it was one of our more nutritional meals -- sea scallops, spinach and carrots.

The scallops were cooked with Tamari sauce -- a soy sauce with a slightly sweet
taste. The fresh scallops came from a local seafood outlet.

Here's mom at the Meadowlark Restaurant. I've been wanting to try it. Mom had a
sandwich and I had a salad, and we both drank water. With a tip, our bill was $26.
The wild rice soup sounded good, but if we both added soup and a drink, our bill would
have been at least $45 -- for lunch. I don't think we'll be going back there.

We had a lot more fun at a little Italian place that we tried for the first time, Roc-a-Fella's.
This is our kind of place, and we will be back for the New York style pizza.

It was cold outside, but warm with the smell of Italian food inside. Of course, mom's
sandwich (on homemade bread) was much too big for her.

Picking some melted cheese off the sandwich. You shouldn't play with your food, mom.

During a recent visit to China Cottage, I got tofu. Mom tasted it and claimed she liked
it, but she sure made funny faces before and during her taste. She got cashew
chicken and liked that a lot -- no funny faces.
