Disc Golf

I found a new interest, and it's making me feel like a kid with a new toy. Jimmy showed me how to play disc golf last month. I practiced almost every day while I was in Florida with mom. And I watched the pros in a Florida tournament (which helped a lot). Since I've been back in Dayton, I've played almost every day. There is a nice course just 5 blocks from our house. I can go and play 18 holes and be back in an hour. The last two days I played 36.

I also worked on the flower gardens in the yard, and they are looking good.

Flowers It's mid-May and I have a good crop of flowers -- the best since we've lived in this house. As always, the flowers provide me with psychic balance to the violence, war and killing. [ flowers ] and [ the yard ] and [ more flowers ]	Tangi and Echo I finally made some progress toward getting mom's cat, Tangi, to get along with our dog, Echo. Echo is fine with the idea, but Tangi is definitely more interested in human friends. [ more ]

[ more ]	Disc Golf Tournament When I was in Clearwater, FL last month, there happened to be a disc golf Pro-Am tournament at a nearby course. I watched all four rounds, following the lead group during the entire final round. [ more ] and [ more ] and [ more ]
Mother's Day Peggy came from Columbus and the three of us had a nice Mother's Day celebration which included a trip to the Chinese Buffet. Mom received lots of cards, candy, flowers and phone calls. [ more ]	Anniversary Camping For the third year in a row, Gail and I celebrated our anniversary (#14) by camping and boating at Burr Oak State Park on Memorial Day weekend. The weather was perfect, and Echo barked at everyone.
