The drive from Dayton to Bridgeport took four and a half hours. I went with Terry (FOG)
and Jim (SISU). The roads alternated between clear and snowy, but were never too
bad.

Nice setup. Our hotel was right next to the Buffalo Wild Wings where about 40 people
met to play trivia. This is the view of BW from the window of our room. Hard to stumble
home, though, because the field was pretty muddy.

The same view during a morning snow. The hotel and the BW are two of the first
buildings in what will be a large, new development.

I climbed the hill next to the hotel to get a picture of the hotel on the right, and BW
on the left. Those who came from Southern California or Tampa can show their
friends that...

Just like when we were kids -- we had to walk five miles in the snow to play trivia.

By early afternoon of the same day, the sun was out and the snow had melted.

On Sunday morning, perfect weather for our drive home.

Enjoying the West Virginia countryside.

Trivia Bash in Bridgeport
People from as far away as California, Texas and Florida joined those of us from closer places like Ohio, Pennsylvania and Kentucky to meet each other, play trivia and drink beer (and other stuff) in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
The bash was organized by Tiefly, pictured to the left. He was an EXCELLENT host. |
