Almost Spring

It is early March and the weather is starting to break. It's been close to 60 degrees for the past three days, and people have (temporarily) shed their Winter coats.

I began the month with a weekend trip to West Virginia to meet, play and drink with other trivia players from across the country.

Recent Reading I'd been looking forward to the new Susan Jacoby book -- a critique of past and current (lack of) rational thinking and sound decision-making. Snow Storm A snow storm, probably the last gasp of Winter, gave me a chance to use the snow blower for the second time this year. The storm may have qualified as a blizzard. Cole Comes to Dayton Cole made a surprise visit from Vancouver, Washington. Both mom and I were really glad to see her. [ more ]	St. Patrick's Day Mom and I had quarts of beer and homemade corned beef, cabbage and potatoes at Kramer's. Then we stopped by Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers to wish everyone a happy St. Patrick's day. [ more ]
