Gail walked with us and took the pictures.

Mom gets a wash and set at Fiesta -- a new place we just discovered, not far from
our house.

And we celebrate her new do with beer, wings and ribs at Frickers. And more beer.

A morning drive and a stop for breakfast.

Lunch at Bravo's Italian restaurant.

A chili dog and a rootbeer float at the A n W Rootbeer Drive-In.

Experimenting with different tastes, we have lunch at a Lebanese buffet, "Taste of
the Mediterranean."

We discovered a place that sells top quality fish to local restaurants (and to the public).
Here we try some big, thick scallops in butter and garlic -- cooked at mom's.

Mom and Tangi are very best friends. Every time mom eats, she offers Tangi a taste.
They get along so well, and are so good for each other, that I've just about come to
the conclusion that anyone who is doing elder care and doesn't have a cat is guilty of
elder abuse. A cat adds so much to an elderly person's life.

Tangi is very friendly with people, but was never interested in playing with cat toys.
Mom and I are practicing with her, and she is starting to like toys.

Exercise is important -- here we are pushing a case of beer home on mom's walker.
The beer drive-thru is a block from our house.
