My distance is improving, but the disc doesn't always go where I want it to.

Nathan -- writer, musician, artist -- got a hole in one, his second on hole number 14.

Here's the disc that did it -- both times.

I haven't had a hole in one, haven't even been close, but I did get my first 2. This
is my second shot on hole 3 at Belmont. It hit the chains and fell in.

At Belmont's number 3 hole I teed off under the trees on the far left of the picture, back
by the white houses. My drive landed basket-high, about 50 feet away. I have bounced
second shots off this basket several times before, but, finally, this one went in.

I was hoping to get my first 2 on a harder hole, but I'll take it. (Wait, I got a 2 last week
in Washington, but the hole was so easy -- 215 feet -- that I discounted it.)

Low Score
After practicing on tough, tournament-type courses in Oregon, I wondered if my game would show any improvement when I got back to the Belmont course. Sure enough, the day I got home I shot a 59. My first time in the 50's.
