Mom and Brenda. Mom's hair is a little wild because we rode in the van with the
windows down, enjoying the Summer air.

Forest was also visiting Brenda and Larry. He's cute, as you can see, and very
friendly. And, like Echo, he loves to run. (Brenda says, "Run, Forest, run.")

They did many laps around the yard together. Look at Forest's ears blowing in the
wind.

Eyeing Larry's beer.

I like the compositon of this picture. I like the diagonal from bottom right toward the
top left, and I like the way the orange glass counterbalances Brenda and Forest.

And what's not to like about this picture? Larry, the young retiree.

Echo cools her feet in the water.

Mom and I.

Mom and I with a somewhat reluctant Echo.

And now for the vegetables. These are home grown potatoes and squash.

Kale (the next morning at home) beginning to cook.

I added a diced potato and some onion.

Zucchini. I think I will bake a vegetable medly with schredded cheese on top for Gail.
Squash, potatoes, beans, zucchini -- all fresh, tasty and nutritious.

 Brenda, Larry and Veggies

Brenda and Larry have been good friends to Echo since she was a puppy. And they have a big, fenced yard where Echo can run. Another reason to visit in the Summer is we might get some home grown vegetables.
