Visiting Cole

Mom and I are beginning July with a five-day trip to Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington to visit Cole and Lisa. Cole is working on a Masters Degree in counseling, and she starts her internship in the Fall. I will enjoy hearing about her learning. And it will be fun to show the beauty of the Northwest to mom.

We will finish the month with another trip to South Carolina for a condominium meeting.

Joey in Ohio My grandson, Joey, is in Ohio for his Summer visit with his dad and his dad's family. He spent an afternoon with me and mom, and we'll see him again when we get back from Portland. [ more ]	Flowers / Peace The flowers in the back and the side yards are looking good. I added a few new plants, but many areas are filled with perennials and needed very little work. Peace. Brenda, Larry and Veggies Mom, Echo and I made a couple of trips recently to see Brenda and Larry. Echo got to run in the yard, mom and I got to have happy hour under the trees, and we got a bunch of fresh vegetables from their garden. Research would have been easier for early biologists, botonists, etc. if they had digital cameras. [ more ]
Gail's Promotion Gail was promoted at work into her first supervisory position. She is a team leader for computer support. [ more ]	South Carolina Mom and I are back in Little River, SC. A condo meeting is scheduled for tomorrow. I'll bet they are going to ask for additional money for the rennovations. Stay tuned. [ more ] and [ more ] and [ more ]
