We celebrated mom's hairdo by going to an Italian restaurant for lunch.

It was 65 degrees and sunny when we arrived.

As usual, we stopped for the night in a motel on the way down. This time we stopped
at the half-way point, Wytheville, Virginia. (I usually try to go more than half way on
the first day.)

Tangi hangs out while I send email messages. Mom relaxes in bed and watches TV.

I think mom is teaching Tangi to turn the lights on and off.

Tangi rested here while we watched TV, but she curled up on top of mom's suitcase
(behind her) when it came time to sleep.

We were greeted the next morning at the motel by sunshine and cool, mountain air.

I forgot to bring cat food, so our fist stop in Little River was for Tangi's sake. She looks
unconcerned, don't you think?

 Driving to Little River, SC

Mom and I are in Little River for the condominium association meeting. This is a picture of mom shortly after I took her to the beauty salon.
