The little noses sticking out of the water can fool you. They are bigger than I ever
realized.
It was fun to watch them nuzzle each other.
Manatees
The day before the hurricane was supposed to hit, I walked on the Safety Harbor pier. There were a half-dozen manatees relaxing in the bay right next to the pier. Watching them is addictive. It was hard to leave.
