I've never been in Florida during August before. I guess it is somewhat of a rainy season,
and there were places on the course that were pretty wet from the recent, daily rains.
At the Cliff Stephens course I used this hole to judge my improvement since I was
here in the Spring. I threw two discs from the tee pad in the distance and made
birdies (2's) with both discs. In the Spring I couldn't reach the basket with my drives,
and I had never scored a birdie anytime, anywhere. This is a short, 200-feet hole over
a grass valley with a four-foot, wooden wall just before the basket.
I saw this on one of the disc golf courses and wondered what it was.
At first I thought
it might be George Bush's brain, but it wasn't rotten enough.
Disc Golf
I played a little disc golf. Usually only four or five holes while mom waited in the car. Just enough for me to get any pent up energy worked out. When I pulled into the Coachman course, it looked to be in good shape.
