From behind the basket, looking back up the narrow fairway.

Fairway emphasizing accuracy rather than distance.

From the tee pad there is a path for golfers but the ideal shot would go over the low palms and thru
the opening in the trees.

If you look closely, you can see a dark carpet which is the amateur tee. The basket is somewhere
down there thru the opening in the trees. Many holes had multiple tees (sometime 3 or 4) for
players at different levels of expertise. .

Here's the same hole from a little further back. The opening looks smaller.

And the same hole from the Jimmy tee. He has to throw it through that little opening in the trees.
Good luck to you, Jimmy.

The tee pads are pieces of carpet tacked to the ground. This is a nice fairway leading to who knows
where.

If you miss the fairway, you are in the palms. I walked through some of these just to see what it
was like, and I was thinking of snakes the whole time. (Cliff hadn't told me about the alligators, yet.)

I think the good players call this a putt. I call it an approach shot.

Disc Golf -- Greg Pas Memorial Course

This is how I pictured disc golf before I played -- a somewhat defined fairway. But I imagined the fairway to be a bit wider. This course definitely favors the accurate thrower over the long-distance thrower.
