This is where my second shot settled on my favorite hole. It actually landed just short
and slid past the base of the basket. Since it wasn't my putter (which I used for the
other approach shot), it rolled 10-12 feet away. I made it for a 3.

My drive landed here, and the basket is right in the middle of the group of four tree
trunks in the middle of the picture. See below for the outcome of my second shot.

My orange disc to the right of the trees for an easy putt for 3. The shots I've
presented so far are from the Cliff Stevens course. The next one is from Coachmens.

My drive leaves me behind a tree. The basket is barely discernable in the distance
just to the left of the biggest, foreground tree trunk. I had to throw to the right and try
to curve the disc back to the left.

Curving a disc from the right to left is the easy, natural thing to do. Now I have
this putt for a three.

My putter is blue, and it's in. (My driver is orange, and my mid-range disc is green.)

Back to Cliff Stevens where I had this shot. the basket is just to the left of and
beyond
the two trees. I will throw to the right of the trees and hope it curves back
toward the basket. But BEWARE. Immediately behind the basket there is a
steep drop to the water.

I threw to the right of the trees; it came back toward the basket a bit, and, most
importantly, it stayed short of the water. I used the putter disc so that when it
landed, it would'nt roll too far.
I don't remember if I made this putt (which means I
probably didn't).

Playing Disc Golf -- Favorite Shots
Here are some of my favorite shots. I enjoyed the fact that none of these courses required great length from the tee (I played the amateur tees), but they did require accuracy and/or finesse.
My favorite hole on all three courses is the one to the left. I was going to play it over and over until I parred it, but guess what? I parred it on the first try -- almost twice. I played two discs from the tee. One landed half way up the hill across the valley, and the other landed just past and to the right of the cluster of trees. I put both second shots within easy putting distance, but missed one of the 10-footers. I made the other one for a par . |
