Banks and MemoriesMemories of childhood -- banks from the insurance company, way back when (the 1950's). Put a coin into the slot each day to change the date, and a quarter to change the month. A good way to teach kids to save. These are from the days when the insurance agent would come by the house once a month to collect the insurance premium (and the milkman would come every couple of days, and the junk man ["rags 'n old iron"] would come every couple of months). |
