Before Gail left, we had a last meal and a bottle of wine.

I checked into a motel where I knew I could park right next to my door, making the
unpacking and repacking fairly easy.

I washed all of the camping dishes I had been carrying around.

And I charged every battery-operated device that I had.

I decided to spend my last evening in Reno at a local bar where I could watch the
Steelers and get a sandwich.

I had a large, delux hamburger.

And Pacifico beers were a dollar each all day Sunday, so I was in luck.

Speaking of luck, I went to the casino next door and made a $20 bet on the Steelers.
They were playing Philadelphia and giving up 3 and a half points. My thinking
was that the AFC is currently better than the NFC...

You see the final score above -- Steelers 27, Philadelphia 13. It's a winner for me.

The next morning I collected my $38.20

Before leaving for Burning Man, I stopped for food, beer and water at the
employee-owned discount grocery, WinCo.

Ready for Burning Man
After Gail left for Ohio, I checked into a motel and started getting ready for Burning Man. I took most things out of the van, deflated the raft and tubes, and repacked.
