A neighborhood cat seems to like Echo, and the feeling is mostly mutual.

They always calmly approach each other.

And check each other out. Sometimes the first thing they do is rub noses.

And then they ignore each other.

Unless Echo decides she wants to play, in which case she starts to run around
frantically and the cat looks at her like she's crazy.

Echo's long legs, good for running.

And jumping, e.g. onto walls.

She turns her attention to a squirrel.

This is one of her I-want-to-chase-that-squirrel postures.

And here's another one, straining at the leash.

The other day a little kid said, "Mom, that dog looks like a rabbit."
