One of the things I like about mom is that she is pretty much up for anything. I said,
"What if we cut a fresh apple into the dressing as an experiment?" She immediately
say OK.

Physical therapy -- mom laughs while holding the 17 pound turkey.

The turkey came in a box.

It is a fresh, all natural, free-range turkey from a local farm.

Vegetarian fed, no additives, raised in the fresh air and sunshine.

Mom laughs at Tangi...

who evidently enjoys the smell of the turkey cooking.

Dark meat, white meat, dressing and turkey soup on the stove. Mom's rule -- you
have to drink a beer while cooking a big meal.

Mom and I have a relaxing Thanksgiving dinner in front of the TV.

I put mom's Christmas lights up while the turkey was cooking, but more about that
next month.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Thanksgiving

Mom continues to show me her cooking secrets. Here we are making dressing for the turkey. The apple was my idea.
