A deer ran across the road and I wished I had been ready with my camera. But we
soon found that deer sightings were not a problem.

I got out of the van to get some closer shots.

I wanted to check out the campground for a future overnight stay.

And I found more deer on the volleyball court -- with frost on the ground.

I followed one down to the creek.

I didn't realize their white tails were so long.

A nice place for deer to hang out (and for me to camp next Spring).

Bye.

The Road Home
On our way home, mom and I stopped at Camp Creek State Park in the mountains of West Virginia, about 20 miles from the Virginia state line. I left the highway for another purpose, but saw the Camp Creek sign so we explored.
