Gail, with her "X Marks the Scot" t-shirt, enjoys a Scottish meat pie.

And certain songs on the bagpipes always bring tears to her eyes.

The Indian booth reminds me of my many trips to India. I saw my old friend, Ra, as
well as this picture of the Taj -- which I visited in 1995.

The Czech and Slovakia booth -- they didn't have Czech beer this year, but it was
pretty early in the day, so that's OK.

I don't go downtown much, and this was the first I'd seen of the renovations occuring
at the convention center.

And I remembered that Rick Jurus had a photo exhibit in the gallery space on the
second floor of the convention center, so Gail and I checked it out.

World A' Fair

Dayton's annual celebration of world cultures provides us with a variety of tasty foods. The World A' Fair is held downtown at the convention center.

Czech dancers are pictured to the left. (Kind of looks like an old dutch painting.)
