Begin by putting a 28 oz. can of tomato sauce and chopped
cabbage on the bottom of a roasting pan.

 


Mix together two pounds of ground meat, an egg, half an onion
(chopped), a cup and a half of rice, and salt and pepper to taste.

 


Shape the meat into 10-15 oblong balls and place on the cabbage.

 


On top of the meat, put the remainder of the chopped head of
cabbage and a small can of sauerkraut.

 


Top with another 28 oz. can of tomato sauce.

 


Bake at 350 degrees for two hours. (My new roaster.)

 


Done.
