Summer
I have three goals for this month:

allow my foot to heal (I splashed it with boiling water while camping).

finish mom's space at our house.
--
attend the condominium association meeting in South Carolina at the end of the month (and relax by the pool).
I'm sure other unexpected tasks and opportunities will come up.

Second Degree Burn |
Vista Continues to Disappoint I was doing a simple, repetitive task in Photoshop yesterday (changing color photos to black and white) and suddenly got the blue screen of death. I was using Windows Vista. I haven't had a blue screen crash with XP for years. And can you believe there are still not Vista-ready versions of Quicktime or the Firefox browser? Vista was five years in development and I get a blue screen crash!

I never had a burn of any consequence until this second degree burn caused by a small splash of boiling water. I am documenting it in the interests of first aid, accident prevention and curiosity.
