Everything was moved and the wall was ready for sanding and painting.
Towel racks are installed in the bathroom and the shower, and the medicine cabinet
hangs above the sink.
I installed a safety handle for mom to use when she gets in
and
out of the shower. Also, a hook for her robe.
A shelf near the shower for extra towels and soap.
And a shelf on the wall next to the bed for her radio, TV remote and dad's picture.
Outside, I painted the window frames and the door.
And I installed new locks (to go with the Brinks
security system).
We bought treats that mom keeps next to her chair for Echo.
But mom doesn't always stay in her chair. She usually watches her soaps from the couch.
Mom's Place
I continue to fine-tune mom's place.
The biggest, recent improvement was painting the wall behind the sink.
The next improvement will be to put paneling across the top of that wall to hide the wires.
