The next day I rode out on my bicycle, looked up, and WOW. What happened?
Someone set fire to the Man prematurely last night. He was likely making a
statement about Burning Man losing its wildness and spontaneity.
A new Man is built and erected, still headless at this point.
You can see the holes from the premature burn.
The new Man is complete.
A circle of art trees surrounded the pavillion underneath the Man.
Playing on a teeter-totter attached to one of the trees. You can see the Man is
missing in this picture as they prepare to erect a new one.
The pavillion under the man contained displays related to energy efficiency. This is
a state-of-the-art green car.
