At Cadillac Jacks they locked the doors at 10:00 p.m. and started cleaning up --
a chance for all
the smokers (everyone but me) to light up, just like the old, smoking days.
Larry especially enjoyed being a rebel.
Champagne at mom's -- somehow it seemed funny to serve it in a glass, a cup,
and a measuring cup. (We were already using most of the glasses for beer.)

Since mom was in her nightgown, Gail got into her PJs for a New Year's eve
pajama party.

New Year's Eve
Gail and I started New Year's Eve together at The Greene. From there we stopped and saw our friends at Cadillac Jacks, and we finished the night at mom's, watching the ball drop and toasting the new year..
