As we begin our trip, we celebrate with an ice cream cone.
Tangi, do you want some ice cream?
Don't mind if I do. Tangi was even better on this, her second, road trip.
When we reached Pittsburgh, we checked into the motel and then headed straight
for our mother-and-son night out at Butya's Tavern.
We had a couple of beers...
with perogies and wings.

Tangi didn't get to eat until we went back to the motel.
Tangi and her mirror image are at home in the motel.
We pass Butya's the next morning on our way to Mary Ann's... where I leave mom
and head for South Carolina.
Mom to Mars
I took mom to Mars, PA for the Schultz family Christmas party. I trekked off to South Carolina for a little end-of-year escape.
Mom was allowed to open two of her Christmas presents early because they were things for her to use in Pennsylvania. Here she is with her new Christmas sweatshirt that she will wear to the Christmas party.
