Another frustrating thing is that if you defrag, during the entire duration of defragging, Vista simply states, "This may
take from a few minutes to a few hours." No other feedback; no indication of of how far along the defragging is, and no
option to ask for more information.

If I lost my wireless connection, I would click on "Diagnose and repair" and see what Vista could do. It gives this idiot message (to the left) -- no hint of what it is trying to do. Inevitably, it comes back saying it can't fix the problem and I should try one of three things; the first one being to unplug my modem and plug it back it. Instead, I manually disconnect from the wireless rounter and reconnect, and everything is fine. Why can't Vista figure that out?
