The view behind my campsite.

I was amateurish on my attempt to start a campfire the last time I went camping,
so I was determined to start a nice fire with one match this time. There are
progressively larger pieces of kindling on top of some paper, and very dry wood
on top.

Just call me "the one-match kid."

Having a cold one and watching the rabbits (not pictured here).

Some storm clouds passed by and I got to see some nice lightening. No rain to
speak of, but some refreshing winds. (It was probably 105 degrees this afternoon.)

Sundown...

followed by the inevitable sunrise. Why do I ever stay in motels? Oh, yea, showers.

Morning light as seen from my campsite.

No time for breakfast. I'm doing a hike to Landscape Arch before the crowds arrive.

Camping at Arches National Park

For $15 I stayed in heaven.
