Monitor Differences
I was very surprised when I compared an image on my old monitor to the same image on my new monitor. The resolution, the aspect ratio and the color calibration of the monitors caused significant changes.
i wondered, philosophically, what does the "real" image look like? And, practically, what does it look like on all those monitors out there?
In general, I knew about the differences, but it was striking to see them first hand.
