One of the new features in Fireworks is this human form smart object. You can
size it
and pose it as you like. One use would be as a template to draw the human
form in various positions.
A significant addition to Photoshop CS3 Extended is the ability to edit video. I believe
you can only import and edit video in the Quicktime format. I haven't had time to try it yet.
A new feature in Dreamweaver allows the insert of "Spry" elements. These elements are
similar to Ajax technologies. Using javaScript, html and CSS they allow parts
of a webpage to be refreshed or changed without refreshing the entire page.
Adobe CS3
The first combined product release since Adobe acquired Macromedia came out this week. I purchased my upgrade (from Macromedia Studio 8) immediately. For $499 it includes the new versions of:
- Photoshop
- Dreamweaver
- Flash
- Fireworks
- Illustrator
- Acrobat
- Contribute
It also includes support features such as Adobe Bridge, Device Central, Extension Manager, LifeCycle Designer and Stock Photos.
