Pepper with me. I wonder why she likes mom better?

These are the first pictures of Pepper with Wee in peace (rather than
wrestling
or chasing poor, timid Wee). This is the companionship that Wee desires.

When mom and I got here, Pepper was too little to jump up on a chair. She could
barely climb out of her cage. Now she climbs all over the house and runs
and jumps
like a pro. I guess we did our cat-sitting job successfully.

Dickens is the elder cat. He likes me, comes to me to be petted much more often
than the
other cats, and
spends time on the bed with me at night.

See you later, good buddy.

On occasion, we took a break from cat sitting to play trivia. Here's mom with Linda (GIRLIE).

Randy ( RAN D) celebrated his birthday while we were in Tampa.

Mom and I went to Fourth and Inches (home of the Hail Mary Hoagie) hoping to
catch Randy's celebration, but
we were a day late. We even had a small carrot cake
with
a candle for him.

While we were there (Fourth and Inches) mom applied for a job. She likes
Florida.

I also visited The Chase Club (without mom) to play Friday afternoon trivia with
Bob (SOB) and his friends. They play cutthroat and have a fun system where the
winner gets a wooden token (and an additional token if on the national
boards).
I had a really nice time, but I didn't win a single token -- Bob gave me some.

I played several times at the Monkey Bar since it is the closest trivia place for me.
Here I am with friends, Mark and Laura.

Monkeying around with Mark. I got his email so we can stay in touch.

I'm glad I got to spend time with mom in Florida. (I didn't ditch her for
trivia too
often,
I promise.) We had a great couple of weeks.

Thanks, mom.
