Driving Home -- Utah

Salt Flats

Back across the salt flats.

From Salt Lake City, I will head South and go home across Utah, Colorado and Kansas (on I-70) instead of the way I came -- across Wyoming and Nebraska (on I-80).

Now I need to find a way across these mountains.


I could have stayed on Interstates, but I decided to try this shortcut.


For a change, one of my shortcuts finally worked. The road was good
with speed limit of 60-65 most of the way.


And I got to see some nice mountain scenery.
