More Arches National Park

View from the parking lot.

It is amazing how many eras (or epochs? or eons?) the land has been
though -- some wet, some dry.

I learned about rocks.
And dinosaur tracks.
And I learned that the arches were formed via the interactions of many
things, including 29 different seas that came and went leaving 5000
feet of salt a mile below the surface. The pressure on the salt caused it
to react and rise.
Petrified dunes through the van window.
Petrified dunes.

There was once a giant arch that stretched from the tall pillar on the right
to the one on the far left.
Time to leave and head for Colorado.
