Hill Climb -- The Course
Devil's Staircase
The course, called "Devil's Staircase" has never changed. Straight up the hill in a series of steps, each of which causes the riders to become airborn.
The rider in this picture didn't quite make it. Some riders lost control, but no one flew into the crowd.
Those who finished usually took 8 or 9 seconds.
