Burning Man -- My Camp

People

I checked the nearby area where I camped last year. Michael's camp was there, but he wasn't. I left a note. Eventually, he came cruising up on his bicycle. Nice to see him again.

I saw one other neighbor from last year -- a woman named Terri. We ended up next to each other in the line to buy ice. She told me where she and her husband were staying, but I was too busy to stop by (see below).

The view from my chair, looking North. Eventually a large camper filled
this space.

The view from my chair looking East toward the center of the city. Eventually
two large campers filled this space, followed by two small tents.

So I often faced this way, looking through the opening to the empty playa.

The occasional vehicle, person or bicycle would go by. This was my
version of watching television....

There goes a naked guy on a bicycle.

And a woman, walking.

I'm glad I thought to document this activity with the camera.

Good afternoon, folks.

There goes one.

Did I mention that this is such fun mostly because I am drinking my
happy hour beers?

Now that I've conveyed the excitement that I had at my camp, I'll show
you the rest of Burning Man in future journal installments. Stay tuned.
