Sampson was rescued when Amy went to New Orleans to help save animals after hurricane Katrina. He was nursed back to health by Cliff and Amy over many months. I gave him daily medicine when I was here last November.
He now lives with Amy's mother. He's happy and healthy. After a long, strange road, his former owners tell people he is retired and living in Florida. (Amy stays in touch with Sampson's former owners who had to abandon him when they were evacuated from New Orleans.)
