Odds and Ends

The best new discovery during this trip is that the little restaurant and bar right next door is under new management and they have free wireless Internet.

I can walk over.

Wireless Internet Next Door

The place is called Baker Street Gill and Grill. It has a deck outside and
a bar and tables inside along the windows overlooking the marsh and
the Intercoastal Waterway.

Here is my computer inside with a football game on one of the two new TVs.

And here is my computer (and a $1 beer) outside on the deck.

Nice view from the railing.

My friend, Jim, has a great mind, loves to read newspapers, and is great
at trivia (especially history). He never used a computer or the Internet, so I
showed him how it works (on my laptop at Buffalo Wild Wings).

The phone at the gas station where I called Gail at 6:30 a.m. to say good
morning. I don't have a cell phone because I hate to talk on the phone.

An interesting sky at sunset. This kind cloud pattern always reminds me
of the big painting (maybe 25 feet long) that Georgia O'Keefe made after
her first airplane flight. The painting used to hang in a back stairwell of
the Chicago Museum of Art. I don't know if it is still there or not.
