A pasty (rhymes with nasty, but isn't) is a dough-filled treat from areas around the upper pinensula of Michigan. Jim Johnson got this recipe from his mother and we are going to have a pasty-making party sometime soon. I wanted to get the recipe posted so I'd know where to find it.
