Computerfest -- August 2002
This version of Computerfest was significant for the following reasons: there was a full schedule of presentations in 12 rooms throughout both days -- yes, 12 concurrent presentations occuring at most hours --, Apple made a major showing, and PC Club (new in town) had a major presence and hosted many vendors.
.
I attended Mac sessions on the new OS (10.2, Jaguar), the Mac applications (iMovie, iPhoto, iTunes, and iDVD), and a two-hour session on Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro. I also attended several Linux presentations by Maddog Hall, a linux guru.

Some presentations were small and allowed for much interaction.

The Linux presentations by Maddog Hall were usually filled to overflowing.

Here is an interesting presentation courtesy of Central State University
where we were able to see $45,000 motion capture suits up close.

And of course the usual assembly of vendors...

My schedule of workshops on Sunday. I also attended Saturday workshops.
