1 -- The Basic Interface

The basic Flash interface is displayed to the right. You create and position objects in the work area. Animations and some movie controls are done in the timeline. There are four panels stacked on the right side of the screen in the image to the right, but there are many more Flash panels that can be opened. We will look at some of them later.

Note the icons down the left side of the image -- they make up the toolbar. The next slide will look at the toolbar in more detail.
